Treats with Love Chin Chin

One reason why I love Autumn is because of all the delicious food. Everything is cinnamon, pumpkin and just mouth-watering in general. As I cook and bake, I have a really big interest in food and the brand Love Chin Chin have kindly sent over some yummy snacks for me to try (I know, I’m literally so happy I’m being sent things TO EAT!).

Love Chin Chin is a sweet African snack and get this, it crunches LIKE a biscuit, but TASTES like a cake! I felt like I was about to try one of those jelly beans from Harry Potter where it looks like one flavour- but is completely different when you taste it! I think it is so fun trying snacks from other cultures, or just snacks I have never tried! I am in love with the packaging, it looks so pretty and is the perfect the size to have in your bag for a snack when you are out and about!

The snack comes in four different flavours; lemon, chilli, cinnamon and vanilla which was the first original flavour! The story behind how they were created is really lovely how it was just a Mother making snacks for celebrations, and now it’s turned into a blooming business and can be purchased from Supermarkets such as ASDA and TESCO!

Now, for the taste…I can sometimes be quite a picky eater when it comes to flavours which are the reason why I love the fact they come in four different flavours, as there should be one for everyone! I can honestly say I have never tasted anything like this before but I do quite like it! My favourite flavours were the vanilla and cinnamon. My brother, on the other hand, LOVES them! He’s more of a biscuit and cake person than I am- I’m more of a chocolate person myself! My Brother’s favourite flavour was also vanilla and he managed to eat the entire pack (as well as a lot of the others!). They are nice a crunchy and I love the packaging as well as the size- I’m planning to bring one in my school bag to eat during the day!

In conclusion, everyone who I offered these to all agreesΒ with me that there is NOTHING like this snack. I have never tasted anything like it before which I think is so amazing as the people who tried this with me were a variety of ages! I really recommend you give these a try to see if you’ve ever tried anything like these snacks from Love Chin Chin as you never know, they may become your new favourite snack like some of my family members!

What’s your favourite snack?

Tash x

    Nice post πŸ˜„
This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you get brands to work with you?
    Gx πŸ˜„

    • September 10, 2016 / 7:03 pm

Thank you Georgie! No worries about the question, sometimes brands will contact me and other times I will contact them! I also sign up to websites that bring together brands and bloggers which sometimes is really useful! x

      • September 10, 2016 / 7:08 pm

        Welcome πŸ˜„
        Thanks for understanding πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚
Ok, are there any of those websites that you would recommend?

        • September 10, 2016 / 8:02 pm

I would definitely recommend ‘the blogger programme’ its with bloggers and brands and if you have a certain amount of followers etc you can sign up to work with them. This is actually how I got to work with this brand so I totally recommend! x

            Ok, great πŸ‘πŸ»
Thank you so much for all of your help 😊

          • September 10, 2016 / 8:11 pm

Yet another question, but would you recommend I get bloglovin?

          • September 10, 2016 / 8:13 pm

Haha its okay! I have bloglovin and to be honest I don’t really have my head around it so I don’t get a lot of use out of it- but I have seen other bloggers get lots more followers and interaction so I would say definitely give it a go! x

          • September 10, 2016 / 8:15 pm

Yeah, it seems to be a popular thing πŸ˜„
            Thank you so much πŸ‘πŸ»

Haha thank you!! They are from Primark and I’m obsessed with them! I’m moving house in a few months and I’m planning on having lots of copper pieces so I’ve started collecting quite a few copper bits!!! x

      • September 10, 2016 / 7:37 pm

No way I wouldn’t have guessed Primark!! I love copper accents so much! X

        • September 10, 2016 / 8:01 pm

They have a HUGE range of fairy lights in there! They even have the really small copper ones you can bend which are like the ones from Urban outfitters for only Β£2.50! The ones I have were only Β£6- you have to have a look! X

          • September 10, 2016 / 8:03 pm

Looks like a trip to Primark is on the cards then πŸ˜‚x

          • September 10, 2016 / 8:08 pm

Haha- I definitely will be going back to their homeware section a lot over the next few months!πŸ˜‚x
